Clash by Night – Showcasing a clash of punk and eastern inspired style, Russh Magazine taps Marie Pioveson for its February-March cover shoot. The new issue is influenced by all things cinematic and story-telling. Photographer Tung Walsh and stylist Gillian Wilkins tell a story of high-octane style with the French beauty wearing an eclectic mix of pieces including Prada, Lanvin, Maison Martin Margiela and Alexander McQueen.
Born Again and Still Guilty – Amanda Norgaard takes on schoolgirl looks with a devious edge for the autumn-winter issue of The Black Magazine, lensed by Tung Walsh. Demure coats and jackets styled by Michelle Cameron get a rebellious edge with sheer and unexpected cuts from the likes of Narcisco Rodriguez, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent and Fendi.
Working Girl – Photographer Tung Walsh lenses this retro story for Oyster’s 100th issue, celebrating the magazine’s eighteen years in print. Model Madison Headrick evokes 1980s career girl glamour in a bevy of bold cuts, color blocking and statement accessories. Creative direction by Stevie Dance finds the American beauty in selects from the likes of 3.1 Phillip Lim, Céline, Calvin Klein, Mary Katrantzou, Giorgio Armani, Stella McCartney, Chalayan and Alexis Bittar earrings. Big hair by Tuan Anh Tran along with make-up artist Chiho Omae’s focus on the cheek take this fashion story to the decade of excess.
Notorious – Cara Delevingne graces the cover of Russh’s August-September issue looking like a cross between eighties goth and modern bohemian. Photographer Tung Walsh captures the British beauty on Coney Island as Cara explores all the sights and attractions. Fashion editor Gillian Wilkins selects a wardrobe of dark and brooding autumn looks from the likes of Mary Katrantzou, Miu Miu, Chanel and Alexander McQueen in the off-kilter images.
I’m Not Afraid of Heights, I’m Afraid of Falling – Tung Walsh captures a reclining Karlina Caune for the June-July issue of Russh Magazine. Wearing bold graphic prints styled by Anna Schiffel, Karlina remains elegantly posed even on the ground in the designs of Alexander Wang, Valentino, Maison Martin Margiela and Marc Jacobs amongst others. On beauty are makeup artist Lotten Holmqvist and hair stylist Halley Brisker.
