Lily Designs for Velvet–Swimsuit babe Lily Aldridge turns designer for a spring 2014 capsule collection from Velvet by Graham & Spencer. The Sport’s Illustrated cover girl took “inspiration from her love of NYC street style, her California roots and her adopted hometown of Nashville” for the line of stylish basics including comfy knits, plaid shirts and mini skirts. The Art of Shoes–Delivering a Baroque inspired spring-summer 2014 campaign, shoemaker Christian Louboutin creates new advertisements inspired by the work of Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens. Photographer Peter Lippmann captures the images which juxtaposed the brand’s dazzling shoes and accessories with floral scenery. This is not the first time the American creative and Louboutin have collaborated together, the fall 2011 lookbook also featured images inspired by famous paintings.
Flowers Bloom–The spring-summer 2014 campaign from RED Valentino, taps British fashion photographer Tim Walker for an enchanting series of images featuring Natalie Westling. The redhead model poses in a world full of flowers with dresses that complement the dreamy setting. Gap’s New Spring–Marking its first campaign under creative director Rebekka Bay, the spring-summer 2014 advertisements from Gap enlists rising talent. David Sims photographed the cast including singer-songwriters Birdy and Anna Calbi, actress Julia Garner and photographer Lina Scheynius with a “lived-in” attitude wearing the brand’s basic wardrobe staples. The new campaign launches this month in the March issues of magazines.
Botanical Spring–Photographed on location at a greenhouse in Pottersville, New Jersey, the spring-summer 2014 campaign from Alice + Olivia takes on a whimsical botanical setting. Model Diana Khulina lounges in the colorful images by Rocco Laspata and Charles DeCaro wearing key pieces from the season designed by Stacey Bendet featuring ballgown skirts, crop tops and printed looks. Jungle Chic–The spring-summer 2014 campaign from Herve Leger by Max Azria takes inspiration from its tribal-influenced collection with a jungle setting for its new advertisements. Lucky Denim–The spring-summer 2014 campaign from Lucky Brand enlists Raquel Zimmermann and David Gandy for a series of advertisements photographed in sunny California. Manhasset’s Cinematic Spring–Fashion retailer Americana Manhasset has released its spring-summer 2014 lookbook, and this season the company gets inspired by the work of iconic film director Alfred Hitchcock. The photo shoot, which stars Daria Strokous and Alex Lundqvist, references the director’s works including “Psycho”, “The Birds” and “Rear Window”. Daria is captured wearing looks from the likes of Chanel, Prada and Oscar de la Renta in the cinematic snaps. And in case you missed it, see Americana’s resort advertisements here.
Karlina is Oysho’s New Babe–Spanish brand Oysho taps Karlina Caune for its spring-summer 2014 campaign, and the Latvian beauty is the very vision of domestic bliss in the (mostly) black and white advertisements. Posing in loungewear and lingerie, the blonde stuns in a wardrobe of slips, pajamas and underwear. Oysho’s previous faces include Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda and Emily DiDonato.
Rita in Miami for Madonna–Fashion continues with its love of Rita Ora as the singer poses for her second season as the face of Madonna and her daughter Lola’s Material Girl line. The spring-summer 2014 campaign features the new styles with the blonde (who also recently teamed up with Rimmel London for a cosmetics line) rocking crop tops, eclectic prints and maxi dresses in Miami, Florida. The clothing is available exclusively at Macy’s and you can shop the new collection there this March.
