Amber Valletta for H&M Conscious Exclusive Spring 2014 Campaign
H&M’s Conscious Campaign–After featuring the Conscious Exclusive lookbook earlier this week, we have a look at the spring 2014 Conscious campaign starring 90s icon Amber Valletta and the EVER Manifesto designers. Wearing the collection of sustainable materials including Tencel, polyamide and hand-drawn prints; the women charm in the fashionable designs. “H&M is proud of its sustainability work. Conscious and Conscious Exclusive show the breadth of possibilities with sustainable materials, and our new Clever Care labeling lets our customers join our mission towards a more sustainable future for fashion,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M´s Head of Design, New Development. The Clever Care labeling gives customers tips for cleaning their clothes with less of an environmental impact.
Guess’ Blonde Bombshells–Heading to the beach for its spring-summer 2014 campaign, Guess enlists a trio of blonde bombshells for its new advertisements. Models Samantha Hoopes, (who also appears in the spring underwear ads from Guess) Danielle Knudson and Olivia Greenfield get glam on the sand in these images photographed by Yu Tsai. Veronique Droulez worked as stylist for the campaign where the girls model a mix of denim, polka dot prints and white hot lace.
H&M Conscious’ Romantic Spring–Set to launch on April 10th, H&M’s spring Conscious Exclusive collection enlists Andrea Diaconu for its lookbook images. The line will be made available in 150 H&M stores worldwide as well as featured online. The range uses environmentally sustainable fabrics such as organic leather and silk made from mulberry trees. Andreea, who is also the current face of the Swedish retailer’s Icons collection, models the romantic designs featuring embellished tops, bolero jackets and romantic maxi dresses in pale and dreamy colors. Smile, It’s Spring–Swedish brand Monki launches its first major campaign for the spring 2014 season featuring Chloe Norgaard. Known for her dynamic energy and colorful hair, the model is all smiles in these images photographed by Erik Wåhlström. Chloe wears vibrant prints and tomboyish fashions for the photo shoot styled by Elina Grothen. “To Monki, fashion is strongly associated with fun, lust and creativity,” says Caroline Carlryd Head of Design at Monki. She goes on to explain the decision to show a smiling Norgaard in the ads, “And no season more so than spring. Smiling, and receiving a smile affects us all so much—that’s a scientific fact. We want to put the smile back in fashion!”
Hilary for Lindex–Showing off her svelte physique, American model Hilary Rhoda kicks off Lindex’s spring 2014 season with a lingerie shoot featuring the retailer’s best of the basic styles. The brunette wears lace, cotton and micro fabrics for a simple and uncomplicated look. Tough Glamour–Launching its first ever shoe collection based off of the runway looks designed by creative director Olivier Rousteing, Balmain releases images of its spring-summer 2014 footwear line, and it’s as tough and rock and roll glam as to be expected. The range includes high-heeled sandals, stilettos, boots and flats in luxe fabrics including python, soft suede and perforated calfskin. Metal detailing is a signature must on many of the designs. Irina & Beach Bunny Reunited–Following up the spring 2014 campaign, Irina Shayk is back once again for Beach Bunny Swimwear’s new “Femme Fatale” advertisements also for the spring season. The brunette babe is serving body and face with a series of strong and sexy poses photographed by Yu Tsai. And when Irina is not ruling campaigns, she is ruling fashion magazines. Kate for Lindex–American actress Kate Hudson is the new face of Lindex’s spring-summer 2014 campaign, and also serves as the muse for the new collection. Hudson is all smiles in the advertising images photographed by Giampaolo Sgura. The star has signed on for three collections total, the first of which will be available online and in Lindex stores starting on March 19th. “This collection is so fresh and unique,” says Kate about the collaboration. “It speaks to so many types of women from all walks of life in such a fashionable, yet accessible way.”
Fashion brand Maiyet taps Binx Walton for its spring-summer 2014 campaign captured by Cass Bird. Known for her laid-back style of photography, Bird shoots Binx in a series of sunny images where she charms in eclectic prints and the label’s refined jewelry. Binx is a star on the rise–also appearing in the spring advertisements from Celine alongside Daria Werbowy and Julia Nobis.
UK-based lingerie label Myla London presents its spring-summer 2014 campaign with a set of sexy images starring none other than Brazilian bombshell Ana Beatriz Barros. The former Victoria’s Secret model enchants in bedroom ready looks including lacy bra and underwear sets as well as fur and jackets as the perfect complements in these images photographed by David Oldham. The advertisements were made with creative direction under Valerie Wickes and styling by Kimi O’Neil.
