A Moody Spring – Marking Marc Jacobs’ final campaign for Louis Vuitton, the spring 2014 season features six of his muses including Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Coppola, Gisele Bündchen, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and Edie Campbell (Deneuve, Coppola and de Maigret images are the first to be released), reports WWD. Steven Meisel captured the women in New York for a series of evocative images. The black, feathered looks from the spring runway show are highlighted in the campaign.
The Sofia Factor – Director Sofia Coppola goes from behind the camera to in front of the lens for Vogue Australia’s August cover story. Known for directing films like “The Virgin Suicides”, “Lost in Translation” and most recently, “The Bling Ring”, Sofia poses for Paul Jasmin (WM Artist Management) in the casual portraits featuring simple yet elegant looks much like her own personal style. Stylist Stacey Battat chose Sofia’s wardrobe for the shoot while beauty was left up to hair stylist Cervando and makeup artist Pati Dubroff.
Continuing press with her upcoming film, Somewhere, Sofia Coppola covers the September issue of L’Uomo Vogue. Captured by Peter Lindbergh (2b Management) in a series of black and white portraits, the American director sports menswear inspired looks with a feminine twist styled by Stacey Battat.
