Rich Autumn – Finnish label Samuji enlists Kirsi Pyrhonen for its fall-winter 2013 lookbook. Photographed by Johnny Kangasniemi and styled by Minttu Vesala, the brunette models the rich textures and moody shades of the new season. “The fall collection is easy and fun to work with. Maybe it has to do with the Northern weather. It is like the clothes have a bigger purpose since they are needed to keep you warm,” says the label’s Head Designer Samu-Jussi Koski.
Winter Feeling – Finnish based label Samuji taps into relaxed, minimal style for its fall 2012 collection. The style book photographed by Juliana Harkki and styled by Mari Kosunen shows model Lykke wearing dark outfits of full, long coats and simple dresses in humble settings. For autumn, the Samuji woman wears simple yet functional staples for the modern-day wardrobe.
Natural Beauty – Photographer Ville Varumo’s images find model Anna Sarvi haunting a stately mansion and its forest surrounding for Samuji’s Spring 2012 lookbook. Simplicity and shape define Anna’s looks, as she dons earth toned separates and dresses. With pulled back hair and minimal make-up, Anna exemplifies quiet Nordic beauty.
Embracing feminine silhouettes with button up t-shirts and cardigans, the fall 2011 collection from Samuji is a story of quiet elegance. And its lookbook photographed by Nina Merikallio and modeled by Ellu Arula only reaffirms that statement. Styled by Minttu Vesala, Ellu sports casual designs in a sunny backdrop.
The spring collection from Samuji offers an array of loose fitting lightweight pieces prone for movement. As with the clothing, the lookbook lensed by Juliana Harkki and starring Lovisa I captures a tale of effortless ease for the new season. / Styled by Mari Kosunen
