Morning After – The stunning Rose Smith plays a vixen in all black for the November issue of Vogue Taiwan. Photographed by Naomi Yang, the Australian model exudes pure seduction in leather and fur looks from the likes of Givenchy, Celine and Giambattista Valli. The sunny outdoor and domestic settings serve as somewhat of a contrast to Rose’s dark looks.
Back Again – With a collection inspired by Russian from the Russian Matryoshka doll, the spring 2013 campaign from Camilla and Marc fuses tradition with modernity. Aussie beauty Rose Smith poses for Justin Ridler in textured and layered looks with metallic detailing. With creative direction and styling by Mark Vassallo, Rose impresses with midriff cuts and tailored separates. The spring-summer collection from Camilla and Marc is in stores now.
Lady Fendi – Citizen K International enlists photographer Alice Rosati (Motif Management) to capture this glamorous story featuring model Rose Smith as “Lady Fendi“, donning looks entirely by the brand. Wearing ladylike pastel tresses, Rose goes about town in sophisticated ensembles styled by Jerome André, carrying the brands signature bags and exuding an excess of elegance every step of the way.
Through the Forest – Mulberry was inspired by fantasy and whimsy for its fall 2012 collection presented during London Fashion Week. Opening with an array of fur coats reminiscent of monsters from “Where the Wild Things Are”, autumn focused on a mix of textiles, colors and prints. Creative director Emma Hill also created silk dresses in vibrant, kaleidoscopic patterns worn underneath the season’s voluminous coats. Among the accessories on the runway was a new bag inspired by American songstress Lana Del Rey, simply titled the Del Ray. For the finale, in lieu of colorful prints–Hill sent out all black ensembles in fluid shapes.
Skyline Couture – Karl Lagerfeld appeared to be inspired by air travel and stewardess uniforms for Chanel’s spring 2012 haute couture collection presented earlier today. The Grand Palais was transformed into the interior of an airplane with models walking down the aisles in elongated silhouettes and extended shoulder winged sleeves. Playing up the jetsetter theme, blue was a dominate hue for spring with sky blue, sapphire and navy all making an appearance. Amid the blue display, there is crystal beading, drop pocket dresses and pleated skirts.
50′s Moment – The December issue of Marie Claire Australia takes 1950′s style into the new decade with Stephan Ward’s striking portraits featuring the work of Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and others. Styled by Jana Pokorny, Rose is as cool as a cucumber in classic hair and makeup by Max May.
They Were Here – Photographer Deborah Turbeville and fashion director Valentina Ilardi-Martin are inspired by the classic era and lavish decor for their most recent collaboration published in Grey Magazine’s fall-winter issue. Starring Rose Smith, Tali Lennox and Caterina Ravaglia, the images take a look at autumn collections from the likes of Viktor & Rolf, Moschino, Stella McCartney and Lanvin with a shaded view.
Roaring 40′s – Rose Smith gets a retro makeover for the November issue of Australian publication, Madison Magazine. Photographed by Carlotta Moye with styling by Rachel Wayman, Rose joins male model Zac Stenmark in a train station love affair. Wearing a wardrobe of 40′s inspired selects from the likes of Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and Mulberry, the Aussie beauty wows in red lips by Victoria Baron and soft curls by Travis Balcke.
Collection Blue – With art direction by Julian Monge, photographer Eric Guillemain (2b Management) lenses selects from the fall collections for the latest issue of Metal. Models Rose Smith and Daga Ziober are inspiring with streaks of bright color in their hair by Joseph Pujalte and make-up by Marie Duhant. Stylist Charlotte Brière’s autumn looks are provocative and powerful, with a sleek modernity for this season’s woman. Looks from Diesel, Burberry Prosum, Emporio Armani, Mugler, Naco, Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Prada, Dries Van Noten, Loewe, Vikto & Rolf, Céline, and others are featured.
