Garden Lady–Fashion label Paule Ka continues its collaboration with photographer Venetia Scott for its spring-summer 2014 campaign. British model Karen Elson poses in Los Angeles in the vintage style snaps made with creative direction by Paule Ka designer Serge Cajfinger. Captured in a lush garden setting, the season’s prints and ladylike silhouettes truly stand out.
Screen Star – After seeing Angela Lindvall deliver elegant femininity in Paule Ka’s fall 2013 campaign, we’re loving the official video of the season with Ms. Lindvall bringing her stunning looks to motion. The American model enchants whether lounging in a draped fuchsia gown or strolling the halls in a gold metallic dress. Angela’s retro-inspired hair and makeup is reminiscent of old Hollywood screen stars.
On the Six – For its fall 2013 campaign, Paula Ka taps American beauty Angela Lindvall for a series of advertisements shot by Venetia Scott for the sixth consecutive season. The blonde models the autumn collection’s tapered pants, animal prints and wool dresses with a sense of mystery and intrigue. Angela makes the perfect protagonist for fall, ladylike yet modern with her glamorous curls and red lips.
Paule Ka Resort – Paule Ka designer Serge Cajfinger envisioned a jet-setting woman for the brand’s resort 2014 collection. The creative director saw the Paule Ka woman taking off to glamorous locations such as Sao Paulo, New York, Kyoto and Dubai with a focus on separates. Crop tops and matching pants give an elegant ease to resort as well as dresses in retro-inspired silhouettes. The colors of the season–clay, chalk, granite and pops of red-orange, poppy and black and white–play into the lightness and global appeal of the collection.
Uptown/Downtown – Paule Ka designer Serge Cajfinger created a fall 2013 collection with a focus on downtown and uptown style. Each piece of fashion blends in with the next for a cohesive wardrobe of luxe essentials. Uptown style is Parisian chic at its finest with an array of structured outerwear that evokes movement with its oversized silhouettes. Downtown is more relaxed; offering skirts, coats and dresses which play on more streamlined and masculine shapes. A color palette of black and white, red, vermillon, grey, blue and beige speaks to the city dweller for the autumn season.
A Retro Style – Hilary Rhoda is the latest model selected for Paule Ka’s spring 2013 campaign. As always, Venetia Scott captures the American beauty wearing 1960s inspired silhouettes in the glamorous setting of Palm Beach, California. With art direction by Paula Ka designer Serge Cajfinger, Hilary evokes the retro sprit of the season in vintage cars, pool chairs and classic sunnies.
Sixties Spring – Paule Ka creative director Serge Cajfinger once again looks towards the 1960s for inspiration with the label’s spring 2013 collection which walks the line between Parisian chic and American escapism. Opening with a soft selection of ivory looks evoking the elegant ladies of Palm Beach, lightweight outerwear and lingerie slips set the stage for the new season. Added to the arrangement are graphic prints embroidered with crystals, cloqué organza, ostrich feature and lace-like guipure. Paule Ka also introduces a twist to the classic men’s shirt; appearing as an elongated dress or slip form.
Autumn Jet Setter – Fall 2012 marks the fourth consecutive collaboration between fashion label Paule Ka and photographer Venetia Scott. And it looks like a winning combination as shown by the new campaign starring Caroline Trentini. The Brazilian beauty plays a global jet setter heading on her way to Berlin for the next soiree. FGR has an exclusive first look at the above image, but you can see more photographs on Paule Ka’s official Facebook page.
A Tour of New York – For Paule Ka’s resort 2013 collection, designer Serge Cajfinger found inspiration in the story of a woman visiting New York City with an outing of ladylike silhouettes. Shot near the Hudson River, the Paule Ka woman wears a wardrobe influenced by Big Apple landmarks such as the Chrysler Building, the MoMA and Central Park. Color blocking and graphic patterns bring to mind New York’s sleek architecture while casual shorts and crop tops evoke the urban pace. Based in neutral hues but paired with bright accents such as canary yellow, lavender and orange; the transitional season is a harmonious marriage of elegance and youthful freedom.
Sweet Youth – For fall 2012, Paule Ka designer Serge Cajfinger was inspired by the gilded youth of 1960′s London with a collection of demure garments that mix a teenager’s wardrobe with pieces stolen from her mother’s closet. A muted color palette of neutral hues juxtaposed against pastel brights set the stage for sportswear influenced ensembles. Oversize knit sweaters, modest hemlines and faux fur dominate the new season in a mix of “poor and rich” fabrics. The sweetness of youth is given a flirty edge with leg baring slits and sheer materials. This season’s popular trend of jewel-adorned accessories also made an appearance in the form of basket shaped handbags. Playing with youth and maturity, Cajfinger gives a smart collection with a retro tinge for the upcoming autumn.
