Vuitton Vacation – After our preview last week, we have the full campaign for Louis Vuitton’s cruise 2012 collection. Starring American beauty Arizona Muse lensed by Mark Segal, the sun-drenched images deliver resort luxury at its best while shot on the island of Corsica. Soft waves by Vi Sapyyapy Thuy and sun-kissed skin by Tatiana Makarova complete the getaway look. / Art Direction by William Snieg
Feminine Frills at Louis Vuitton – Marc Jacobs put on a show for Louis Vuitton’s spring 2012 collection amid strong rumors that he is set to take the job as Dior creative director. As for the new Vuitton collection, a white carousel set the stage for the new season with models wearing feminine frocks on the catwalk. Pastel hues, peekaboo cutouts, tweeds and ostrich feathers defined the Louis Vuitton woman for spring with a play on girlish innocence and 60s style. Beauty for the show included pink lips and smoky eyes paired up with a slightly disheveled up-do. Supermodel Kate Moss closed the show in an ivory frock.
Pop Goes the World – Photographer Christian Anwander (De Facto Inc.) captures this wildly cartoonish shoot with the creative touch of pop artist Barry Reigate for fall’s 10 magazine. Marike Le Roux dons a dangerously sexy wardrobe entirely of Louis Vuitton styled by Sophia Neophitou. Marike’s slicked back hair by Akinora Shirakawa, and avant-garde make-up by Ralph Sicilano create the perfect canvas for Reigate’s cartoon clowns, logs and bubbles.
London by Night – Sophie Sumner takes a stroll through the streets of London at night in Dennison Bertram’s images for the September issue of Marie Claire Czech. Styled by Florence Deladriere and Sona Jankuliakova, the blonde beauty dons Louis Vuitton’s fall 2011 collection. A chic bob by Brendan Robertson (NakedArtists) and red lips by Nat Van Zee are a perfect match for the highly dramatic series.

Louis Vuitton’s fall 2011 presentation was an extravagant affair complete with elevators, bell boys, french maids and even supermodels on the runway. Updating ’40s silhouettes, creative director Marc Jacobs sent out a parade of characters which seemed to have an underlying fetish theme complete with leather, handcuffs, pantless outfits and masks placed on chauffeur hats. Highlights included the appearance of supermodels Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Carolyn Murphy, leather pieces worked like lace and lovely sheer numbers. It seemed that for Vuitton’s latest collection, the indulgence of fantasies was more important than ever.
The March edition of Amica highlights the spring 2011 collection from Louis Vuitton in a dramatic series set at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace in Paris’ Le Bourget Airport. Lensed by Christopher Morris, model duo Suzie Bird and Ophelie Rupp take to the skies in Louis Vuitton’s Eastern inspired creations styled by Michele Ciavarella.
