Sweet Spring–The spring-summer 2014 campaign from Jill Stuart taps Gracie van Gastel for a series of images photographed by Mario Testino. The dark-haired beauty poses against backdrops of eastern inspired patterns to go with the new season’s structured silhouettes and sleek shapes styled by Beth Fenton. Makeup artist Aaeron de Mey and hair stylist James Pecis worked on beauty for the shoot.

A Light Touch to FallJill Stuart’s signature feminine, airy frocks were out in full force for her fall 2012 show presented earlier today during New York Fashion Week. The color palette was dark, with pops of metallic, plum and navy to lighten to mood. Not one to pass on demureness, Stuart also featured a mix of lace and ruffles with peekaboo cutouts and leggy hemlines for a sexy touch. Outerwear included puffy coats belted at the waist, making a strong contrast to the flirty dresses and skirts which dominated the runway for fall.

It’s A Girl’s WorldJill Stuart’s feminine and frilly aesthetic was out in full effect for her spring 2012 showing. Sending out an army of light pastels paired off with neutral hues, Stuart goes back to childhood this season with doll-like dresses, disheveled hair and gold-plated shoes. Following up last season’s fox and owl prints, Stuart found inspiration in cherry blossoms, palm trees and song birds for spring. Walking the line between daytime and bed-wear, this collection brought a sense of sweetness to New York Fashion Week.
