Isabel Marant’s Western Fall – Not a label known for following trends, the fall 2012 collection from Isabel Marant let its carefree spirit fly with the designer’s latest presentation shown during Paris Fashion Week. Inspired by southwestern style and cowgirls, autumn embraced feminine ruffles, floral detailing, casual denim and leather. Fringe and metallic accents brought an authentic touch to the well-tread theme. A muted color palette with pops of scarlet, electric blue and pink grounded the new season with a modern take on old west style.
Rolling into Spring – Isabel Marant taps the always intriguing Anna Selezneva for its spring 2012 “Etoile” catalogue shot by Karim Sadli. With art direction by Atelier Franck Durand, Anna spends a day bike riding and roller skating in Marant’s signature bohemian prints. Relaxed silhouettes, casual denim and high platform sandals define the new season with a chic ease from head to toe.
Isabel Marant’s Sporty Spring – For spring 2012, Isabel Marant went for a sporty, rock and roll vibe with oversize tees paired up with fitted pants. Youthful and carefree, the Marant woman gets leggy for the new season in miniskirts and shorts. Lightweight knits and crystal embellished looks completed the sexy spring collection.
