Holland’s Ladylike Tough – For his spring 2014 collection, House of Holland designer Henry Holland found his inspiration in Mexico City and street style. The result was an outing of relaxed and ladylike silhouettes paired with tough urban elements such as trucker hats, tattoo inspired prints and boxy tees. Metallic brocades and lace detailing brought a romantic touch to Holland’s contemporary woman. Gingham patterns showed up with shirts, pants or skirts in bold blue and red hues. Topping off the cool look are retro-inspired cat eye sunglasses and strappy heels in metallic colors.
London Girl – House of Holland taps UK “It Girl” Adwoa Aboa for its late summer eyewear campaign. The model and actress was photographed in a London studio wearing the season’s quirky styles. “This season I wanted to expand on our current range with some new colourations of our greatest hits to date alongside an injection of new frames, shapes and lenses,” Henry Holland says about the new collection. New styles of the season include Mad Max, Lipstick and Fister.
Eyewear Throwback – House of Holland presents its second eyewear collection for the spring-summer 2013 season. The campaign stars Ioanna Gika from the band Io Echo, photographed by Danielle Levitt in Long Island. The advertisements are inspired by 70′s style as shown by the kitschy setting and retro decor. Styled by Heathermary Jackson, Ioanna wears quirky eyewear shapes such as cat eyes and oversized, round frames.
House of Holland’s Electric Fall – For fall 2012, House of Holland’s Henry Holland sent out an array of colorful patterns in primary colors. Whether an enlarged houndstooth print or zig zag stripes, the upbeat collection oozed youth with playful ruffles, flared pants and metallic accents. The flirty silhouettes were matched with patterned stockings or socks and chunky, platform heels. For beauty, models walked down the runway with bright red lips and messy ponytails reflecting the carefree spirit of autumn.
Colors of the Rainbow – Following up the video preview last week, House of Holland unveiled it’s first resort collection today starring Eliza Cummings in rainbow brights. Inspired by ’90s style, designer Henry Holland juxtaposes stripes, floral and skull prints for a fun yet savvy result. From asymmetrical cuts to floor length skirts, the House of Holland girl is a true world wide woman.
