Blue on Blue – H&M taps Polish beauty Magdalena Frackowiak for a recent trend update featuring all denim looks. Whether wearing denim on denim or knitwear with jeans, Magdalena exudes pure elegance in the new style book images. The blonde accessorizes with ankle booties, heels and silver jewelry.
Winter Looks – For H&M’s winter campaign, Dutch model Doutzen Kroes may be posing in the desert but she certainly looks cozy in cable knits, faux furs and leather pants. Layered in scarves and cool hats, the Victoria’s Secret model stuns in the sunny, outdoor images. Doutzen also appeared in the fashion retailer’s summer advertisements earlier this year.
Marant for H&M – Before the collection hits stores on November 14th, here is the first part of the Isabel Marant for H&M lookbook starring models Andreea Diaconu, Alek Wek, Milla Jovovich, Iselin Steiro, Malgosia Bela and French singer Lou Doillon. The girls all wear the French designer’s signature boyish and rock and roll style with boxy jackets, long cardigans and leather pants that look like the perfect fall essentials. For accessories, you can look forward to shoes, jewelry and scarves.
H&M’s 2013 Design Winner – H&M’s annual design prize for talent on the rise, the H&M Design Award, has picked 27 year-old graduate from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Minju Kim, as its 2013 winner. The designer was afforded the opportunity to design nine clothing pieces and two accessories for a line that will be available in select H&M stores starting on October 17th. It will also be available at Opening Ceremony in New York, Los Angeles and London.
The lookbook images star French model Anais Pouliot and Marikka Juhler shot by Benjamin Vnuk. Kim’s designs bring manga to life with playful and colorful designs including dresses and sweaters. “These pieces by Minju Kim show H&M’s commitment to the future of design and to helping move fashion forward,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Creative Head of Design.
Gisele Sings – Following up the print advertisements, here is a look at the official campaign film for H&M’s fall season starring Gisele Bundchen. In addition to modeling the new rock ‘n’ roll inspired collection, the Brazilian stunner also shows off her pipes in the song, “All Day and All of the Night”, originally performed by the Kinks. The song is available on iTunes and for every download, H&M will make a donation to UNICEF to enable the purchase of vaccines for children.
Denim Babe – H&M taps Alessandra Ambrosio to model its “Divided” denim collection of stylish jeans photographed by Honer Akrawi. Ranging from boyfriend-inspired cuts to form-fitting skinny jeans, the Brazilian stunner works it from head to toe in a mix of denim jackets, leather and casual tees. The fashion retailer gives tips on how to wear its new denim styles including contrasting washes and opting for cut-off looks.
H&M Goes Boho – After showing a runway collection in Paris last season, fast fashion giant H&M opted to do an intimate presentation for the spring 2014 season. The new outing features a rock n roll, bohemian inspired aesthetic. “I love the personality at H&M this spring. Style is about expression and creating your own personal wardrobe. New, urban tomboy essentials and boho separates allow today’s woman to become their own icon,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Head of Design. Gisele for H&M – Marking her return as the face of H&M, Brazilian stunner Gisele Bundchen appears in the brand’s fall 2013 advertisements. The blonde last appeared in H&M’s spring-summer 2011 campaign. This time around Gisele posed on the streets of central London wearing comfy knits, stylish outerwear and retro-inspired caps.
Effortless Elegance – Fresh off the news of online shopping made available in the US, Swedish retailer H&M has another style book update. This time it stars leading model Frida Gustavsson. The blonde wears modern classics including silk blouses, embroidered dresses and pencil skirts in the elegant snaps. Accessories are kept simple with monochrome bags and rings which allow the the clothing stand out.
The Time to Shop – Although fast fashion retailer H&M is a big hit in the US, it has yet to offer online shopping until now for America. The launch of e-commerce in the US has been postponed twice, but today, American shoppers can head online and buy everything from swimsuits to materenity wear to cosmetics on its website.
