Celebrate – In celebration of its 25th anniversary issue, Elle China enlists homegrown beauty Shu Pei, Miao Bin Si, CiCi Xiang and Emma Pei for a lengthy fashion featured photographed by Stockton Johnson. The models wear all designer labels including Kenzo, Celine, Valentino and more selected by WeiMo, who styled Shu Pei, and Wuwoo who styled the other girls. Shu Pei flew out to Milan and posed with designers Roberto Cavalli, Dean & Dan Caten and Silvia Fendi in the glossy images.
New Season – Liu Wen graces the pages of Elle China’s September issue, looking super glam in autumn looks. Trunk Xu photographed the Chinese beauty who recently made her first appearance on Forbes’ Highest-Paid Models list at the number five spot. Go for Gold – Actress Blake Lively graces the September issue of Elle China, looking stunning in a gold gown from Gucci’s fall 2013 collection. Mei Yuangui photographed the blonde beauty with styling by Hubert Chen for the new issue. The face of Gucci’s “Premiere” fragrance also wore the brand at a recent promotional event.
Autumn Fairy Tale – Captured for the September issue of Elle China, model Xiao Wen wears a mix of relaxed and elegant selects in Laura Sciacovelli’s enchanting images. Stylist Miranda Almond selects a wardrobe of all British designers including the work of Stella McCartney, Giles, Paul Smith and many more for the Chinese beauty to wear on her fairy tale London outing.
Arrow of Cupid – Model Tiera Dyck is a fresh faced beauty in these portraits lensed by Michelle Du Xuan for Elle China’s latest issue. With feminine styling by Rene De Bathory, Tiera is as pretty as the flowers around her, with make-up by Daria Slusarczyk (B4) and soft tresses by Shuko Sumida.
The New Look – The March edition of Elle China marks a relaunch of the publication with the magazine going semi-monthly, giving double the number of issues and fashion. With its new look, Elle enlists the talent of designer Jean Paul Gaultier and Chinese top models Shu Pei and Kiki Kang. Gaultier styled the two girls with his own creations as well as other designers’ pieces. In front of Mark Pillai’s lens, the girls look like retro pin-ups with a rock and roll twist in the form of tattoo sleeves and bold makeup.
The Ice Queen – Drama and refinement define these icy images by Chris Nicholls shot for the November issue of Elle China. Model Tara Gill is the very image of luxury against an austere background in looks styled by Hubert Chen. Beauty by Simone Otis complements Tara’s statement leather hat with lady-like sensuality.
