The word minimal is key for fashion editor Suzanne Koller’s latest work in Self Service. With aide of photographer and editor-in-chief, Ezra Petronio, Koller pieces together a wardrobe of notable garments from the likes of Alexander Wang, Celine and Chloé in the snapshot style story that stars Carmen Kass.
The open and arid desert makes the perfect backdrop for Mark Pillai‘s Heat Seeker. Published in June’s Harper’s Bazaar UK, Carmen Kass stars a motorbike riding, neutral wearing vixen. Styled by Vanessa Coyle in lightweight garments from Jean Paul Gaultier, Ralph Lauren and Alexander Wang, Carmen is ready to battle the elements.

2006′s “Le Jeu” is a rare editorial which features one shot of each model yet still manages to stay cohesive thanks to concrete styling and aesthetic. Looking at the images, it is interesting to see how these particular models have changed over the past three years. Some, like Raquel Zimmermann and Natasha Poly, have managed to stay at the top of their game. While others such as, Gemma Ward or Iselin Steiro, took a break from modeling or have left the business altogether. Nevertheless, “Le Jeu” is up there with some of the greatest Vogue Paris editorials.
