Vogue Japan favorite, Aymeline Valade, gets her first cover of the publication with the December issue photographed by Giampaolo Sgura. Wearing a Bottega Veneta fall 2011 dress, Aymeline is the very definition of glamour.
Bottega’s Elegant Spring – Bottega Veneta continued a tradition of a vivid color palette and elegant silhouettes for its spring 2012 collection presented earlier today in Milan. Creative director Tomas Maier made the new season a story of lines and fluid shapes with impressive draping of silk, chiffon and cotton organza. As for texture, the Bottega Veneta woman wore abstract prints and raised patterns, giving the illusion of depth. Spring’s handbags took on leather, python, ostrich and crocodile treatments, adding to the luxurious showing.
The Scent – To celebrate the launch of their first women’s fragrance, Bottega Veneta enlisted the help of photographer/director Chris Weber and art director Tomas Maier to create this short film exploring the scent’s olfactory sensation. With notes of bergamot, pink pepper, jasmine, patchouli and oak moss, the scent is evocative of private luxury amidst the hills of Italy’s Veneto region.
Beautiful Bottega – Isabeli Fontana continues to dominate the fall campaign season with Bottega Veneta’s vintage style advertisements lensed by Robert Polidori. With hair coiffed to the perfect beehive, Isabeli dons the skirt and jacket pairings with timeless elegance.
Bottega Veneta enlists Nine D’Urso, the daughter of Ines De La Fressange, for its first women’s fragrance. The campaign video directed by Bruce Weber is romance in its truest form. Below, we also have a look at the campaign image.
Creative Director Tomas Maier called the fall 2011 collection from Bottega Veneta a mix of control and passion, and when looking at Veneta’s elegant protagonist there is definite pull between classic austerity and modern creativity. Experimenting with silhouettes, sharp lines and embellished fabrics of lace, wools and waxen leather came together for a story of flawless technique.
