Alice + Olivia Fall 2014–Influenced by fairy tales and Victorian style, the fall-winter 2014 collection from Alice + Olivia walks the line between whimsical charm and sharp tailoring. The new season embraces fantasy with sumptuous brocades, luxe velvets, delicate lace and shimmering metallics. More practical pieces include menswear inspired trousers as well as simple yet form-fitting day dresses. Skirts for fall are flared and full with pleats while gowns feature crystal embellishments for a romantic approach. For accessories, the Alice + Olivia woman wears NYC boots and pumps while bags also take on fairy tale figures with names like “Owl” or “Bear”.

Alice + Olivia Pre-Fall 2014 – For Alice + Olivia’s pre-fall 2014 collection, designer Stacey Bendet delivered the brand’s signature girly separates and prints. The new outing nods to the sixties with short skirts and dresses featuring mod inspired color-blocking treatments. Pre-fall also introduces a touch of menswear inspired looks with tailored shirts and wide-legged trousers. For evening wear, the Alice + Olivia woman wears bold metallic fabrics as well as embellished tops for an ultra-feminine look.

Alice + Olivia Resort – The resort 2014 collection from Alice + Olivia is influenced by a boarding school girl’s vacation to the English countryside. Creative director Stacey Bendet’s vision of the season includes whimsical stripes, polka dot and floral prints in youthful shades of red, blush, navy and white. Cropped tops are paired with full skirts and fitted trousers while jackets are boxy.
