Alana in Armani Privé–The February issue of Harper’s Bazaar Spain takes a look back at the Armani Privé archive with a haute couture spread starring Alana Zimmer. You may recall that Armani’s spring haute couture collection was revealed earlier this week in Paris. Photographer Nagi Sakai captured the Canadian beauty in memorable creations from past seasons styled by fashion editor Melania Pan. The artful shapes and masterful techniques are definitely a must see!
Double Vision – The models are twice as nice in V Magazine’s spring 2013 edition. Stylist Tom van Dorpe cleverly turns Constance Jablonski, Cora Emmanuel, Liu Wen, Catherine McNeil, Mirte Maas, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Bette Franke, Alana Zimmer, Kasia Struss, Marie Piovesan and Sam Rollinson into convincing sets of fashion forward twins. Photographer Sharif Hamza was on hand to capture all the fun for this playful spread.
Flowering Fields – Free People jumps into spring with its March lookbook starring Fei Fei Sun, Martha Hunt, Alana Zimmer and Dorothea Barth Jorgensen. With half of the images lensed on location in the fields of Lompoc, California, and the other half taken in the studio; the girls pose for Anna Palma in a series of romantic images. Spring is all about light layering including embellished tops, casual denim, floral prints and bohemian dresses.
Bowie Girl – The legacy of David Bowie and his Ziggy Stardust persona lives on in this shoot featured in Vogue Russia March. Model Alana Zimmer poses for Emma Tempest in tailored suiting and separates from Gucci styled by Camilla Pole. Hair stylist Lyndell Mansfield creates Alana’s red coif while makeup artist Mel Arter creates colorful eyeshadow hues.
A Shapely Transition – Max Mara plays on oversized, menswear influenced shapes for its pre-fall 2013 collection. The looks, modeled by Alana Zimmer, come in mostly nude and neutral shades with the main staples being double-breasted jackets and slouchy trousers. The masculine elements of the collection are downplayed with fur embellishments, usage of color-blocking and column-shaped dresses. Nagi Sakai captures the Canadian stunner in bohemian prints, tailored blazers and fitted pants for the autumn season. A picturesque setting of nature and sun serves as the perfect backdrop to Miller’s nostalgic designs.
The Court – Alana Zimmer is strict yet elegant in Alice Rosati’s latest work for Swedish publication, Contributor Magazine. Wearing sleek looks styled by Stefanie Miano, Alana plays an unconventional beauty with multicolored eyeshadow by Tiziana Raimondo and slicked back hair by Franco Argento.
The Ladies – Photographed by Steven Pan (Management Artists), Alana Zimmer and Hanne Gaby Odiele live the privileged life with a dark edge for Interview Russia’s April issue. Karen Kaiser styles the duo in 50′s inspired pieces from labels such as Valentino, Balenciaga and Christopher Kane worn with a laissez-faire attitude. Matching bobs by hair stylist Rita Mamor and flawless makeup by Benjamin Puckey perfect Alana and Hanne’s retro ensembles.
