Jacquelyn Jablonski for Galliano Spring 2011

John Galliano’s no-fuss aesthetic finds a new voice in beach bum inspired wear for the sophomore Galliano lineup. Enlisting the help of Jacquelyn Jablonski and Francisco Lachowski, a young vision sees the mixing and matching of various occasion pieces for an eclectic finish. From exposed pocket linings and offbeat proportions to bold colors, the Galliano woman proves to be a character.

Absolutely love! Simple background, just letting the Galliano woman shine through. It has inspired me to do a post on John Galliano! And I love Jacquelyn Jablonski! Such a pleasant face to look at.

The male model is stealing it from Jacquelyn. She looks so stiff, and no emotion at all…

Galliano’s “no fuss aesthetic” – ha!

That’s all I could notice – Jacqueline’s lack of emotion. The clothes are so much fun, and she looks bored to tears. It doesn’t work.

I feel like you shouldn’t style someone with a skateboard unless they’re wearing skateboard shoes. No one would ever skate in boots or sandals and if you did you would face a lot of criticism from other skaters.

But I realize it’s just a shoot and not real life so I’ll just get over it.

I agree completely, I can’t stand to see skateboards misused! Jacquelyn is quite possibly the best new model, too bad the photographs are crap.

looks more like dumb, faux hippie than anything resembling “skater chick.” oh right, put an unridden skateboard in the shot and that makes it skaterific.
