Valentino’s Dreamy SpringValentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli once again delivered dreamy elegance for the label’s spring 2012 collection presented during the second to last day of Paris Fashion Week. Walking the line between womanly sophistication and girlish innocence, the Valentino woman took on leather for the new season along with peekaboo cutouts, minimal maxi gowns and traditional lace. Using a palette that bounced around the spectrum from Valentino red to black and pink blush, spring is a season of ease with flat shoes and slightly mussed hair.

  1. Finalmente una gran bella passerella alla PFW. Valentino indiscutibilmente glamour e chic ancora una volta ha fatto centro.

  2. Some pretty dresses, and like the sandals, but all the collections could merge into one, there is nothing new. worse, the REAL Valentino aesthetic seems to be lost forever. I feel sorry for Mr Valentino.

  3. Oh my, what a travesty.  Little to no cohesion at all.  What have they done to Valentino?!  Why can’t he design his own collection anymore?  I’d say he was turning in his grave, but he’s still alive – this must be torture for him!
