Arguably one of the most anticipated shows of New York Fashion Week, the Rodarte collection does not disappoint with the spring season. Finding inspiration in nature and redwoods of Northern California, Kate and Laura Mulleavy deliver a showing of 1960s tinged garments with a slew of prints and color blocking. It is important to note, however, that this is a departure from previous collections known for their romantic and sometimes dark roots. Nevertheless, it is once again a successful effort from the two sisters.

  1. This is VERY grown up for them. Much more commercial than their previous two collections, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Its still very intricate and delicate, yet mature at the same time. Rodarte cant do wrong in my book.

  2. This is SO SO SO amazing. Even as a departure from the previous collections, it’s showing their growth so well. Absolutely love this. The Mulleavys can do absolutely no wrong. LOVE.

  3. I feel like I like the idea of this collection better than the actual items. I can see a lot of them working as separates, but some of the proportions feel inelegant for a RTW colection.
