Chai’s Mix & Match SpringRichard Chai stuck to his androgynous, boyish appeal for the spring 2012 collection of “Richard Chai Love” shown during New York Fashion Week. There was an undertone of 90s grunge with floral prints, stripes and geometric shapes in a mix and match of colors and patterns. Light layers culminated in a sleek combination of shorts, skirts and pants that give a sporty vibe to the relaxed silhouettes. Structured yet deconstructed, the spring collection truly showed that opposites attract.
