Rag & Bone Spring/Summer 2015–Urban sportswear, if there is such a thing, is the meat of the Rag & Bone woman’s wardrobe. And for spring 2015, designers David Neville and Marcus Wainwright created looks that speak perfectly to that customer’s sensibilities. The inspiration for this season is cults, and the idea of what members would wear which ties into a utilitarian and undone theme. Jackets are menswear inspired and relaxed while skirts are long in an almost modest way. Materials used are natural, giving a rustic vibe to spring with hemp, cotton canvas, silk and more. Although one can never call the Rag & Bone girl flashy, there is something refreshing about simplicity of the functional designs.
