Set to arrive on newsstands on February 9th, the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue will feature for the very first time a plus-sized advertisement. for SwimsuitsForAll. Curvy model Ashley Graham wears a black bikini with a guy in a suit checking out her beach body. You may remember that SwimsuitsForAll is the same brand that came out with a calendar last year which featured Robyn Lawley.

“I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too. There is no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt,” says Graham. “The world is ready for more curves in bikinis.” See the campaign video above.

  1. I can hardly wait until the gals (and guys) are looking to buy bikini’s for our 300 to 500 pound weight class coming shortly!!?! How can one even look at the weight charts for healthy people. Fat, “Heavy”, BBW, overweight, and obese – is still FAT!!! What is wrong with going on a REAL diet and loose the FAT?

  2. I got quite confused about the meaning of “curvy”…is that being obese or simply flourishing? That’s not good promoting fatness as a symbol of joy, because over weight is a rel serious problem to health… media always promote extremes, anorexic or obese…why not just a normal, fit but flourishing body?
