Miuccia Prada’s penchant for mixing prints and textiles was evident during the women’s resort 2016 show presented during Men’s Fashion Week in Milan. This season called for a simple and easy silhouette, shift dresses layered over long sleeve tops or rather unaccompanied. Prints are a whimsical mashup of stripes, eye motifs, snakeskin and bunny rabbits. The playful patterns bring a youthful vibe to the collection while zipped-up polo shirts and knee-length skirts say all woman. Armed with color-blocked sandals, Mary Janes and chain-adorned bags, the Prada woman walks to the beat of her own drum.
