Karl Lagerfeld took Chanel’s spring-summer 2016 collection to the skies with a set designed after an airport terminal at ‘Chanel Airways’. Models hit the runway with their own carry-on luggage bags, oversized sunglasses, sweatshirts and baseball caps worn backwards for a humorous look at airport style. And for spring, Lagerfeld created several denim looks ranging from sculpted dresses to wide-leg trousers. But it was not all business casual, Chanel’s signature tweeds were dressed up with crystal embellishments and ruffles while bows added another element of femininity. The Chanel woman accessorized her look with silver platform shoes, headbands, worn with low-hanging pigtails and wide bracelets.
