Andreja Pejic is profiled in the summer 2015 issue of Dazed Magazine for a feature called: ‘Becoming Andrej(a)’. First rising to fame in fashion for her androgynous looks, Andreja has gone on to become an icon of the transgender community with a history-making Make Up For Ever campaign. The images photographed by Jeff Bark feature an undressed and candid Andreja.
In her interview, Andreja talks about what the future holds. “For a lot of your life as a trans woman, when you picture yourself old, you picture yourself alone. You don’t picture yourself growing old with someone. But the world is definitely changing and I’ve had very positive experiences so far. There are men out there who are accepting and understanding, which is refreshing to see because for a lot of my life, I was treated as a fetish.”
