Celebrating 10 years of his label, Alexander Wang presented his spring-summer 2016 runway show on the third day of New York Fashion Week. Trading in last season’s gothic inspired look, the new season featured more everyday staples including denim separates, military-inspired jackets and hoodies with a graphic edge. Bold stripes, chain link details, fringe and mesh made these wardrobe staples far from minimal. Wang also experimented with evening wear inspired looks in his own way with long, flowing dresses given a street style makeover when paired with oversized coats or baseball caps.
