Actress Emma Stone and her stylist, Petra Flannery, are featured in The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Power Stylists issue. The two pose for Austin Hargrave while both wearing Lanvin dresses and shoes by Christian Louboutin. Petra, who also styles Amy Adams, was ranked number one in the magazine’s power ranking of 25 stylists. Emma talks style, saying, “Petra has taught me about quality and how nice it can be when you do tailor something a little bit, and that I should wear menswear most of the time.”
To which Petra adds, “It works well on you. It’s that Katharine Hepburn, Diane Keaton inspiration.” And who could forget Emma’s 2015 Golden Globes look where she donned a Lanvin jumpsuit with a crystal bodice and train. The look kicked off a menswear trend in Hollywood for women. “We didn’t set out to be trendy,” Petra says.
