Actress Caitriona Balfe gets her closeup for the April 2016 issue of InStyle Magazine. Photographed by Joachim Mueller-Ruchholtz and styled by Melissa Rubini, the ‘Outlander’ star channels her modeling days in a fashion spread featuring spring’s minimal separates. Rubini selected designs from the likes of Bally, Jil Sander and Carolina Herrera. The 36-year-old star also opens up to the magazine about showing her body in some steamy scenes from ‘Outlander’. “I have some insecurities,” she reveals. “My figure isn’t what it was at 26, but it’s important that we show real woman onscreen. Who you are as a person is more important than having a perky butt.”

You can see Caitriona Balfe on season 2 of ‘Outlander’ which premieres on April 9 on Starz. The television show follows the story of Claire Randall who travels through time with her beau Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). The second season takes place in 18th century France with gorgeous costume work by Terry Dresbach including a red gown with corset work that Balfe can be seen in the promotional artwork.
