Moschino Spring 2015–After last season’s McDonalds themed collection, Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott looked towards Barbie for inspiration with the label’s spring-summer 2015 show. Barbie has been made popular in fashion lately, with the recent Barbie Lagerfeld collaboration and even “Wizard of Oz” Barbies reimagined by famous designers. The eighties inspired designs featured a lot of pink, a lot of gold metallic and a lot of chains. Fun displays on the runway included Charlotte Free roller skating on the catwalk (Skater Barbie!), Devon Windsor wheeling a Moschino adorned suitcase (Work Barbie!) and oversized sunglasses that even adorn dresses like a doll would have.
