Maxime Simoens Resort – For his eponymous label’s resort 2014 collection, French designer Maxime Simoens revisits 1930s style with a focus on art deco motifs. This season is all about womanly shapes and structures while adding a modern take with graphic, geometric prints in a strict color palette of black, white and red. Dresses and skirts in are form-fitting with asymmetrical cut-outs while jackets reflect the tailoring of the 30s with an attention on the waist.
