Max Mara Spring 2015–Presented during Milan Fashion Week, the spring-summer 2015 show from Max Mara looked to the seventies for inspiration. The decade seems to be a popular influence for designers this season. For spring, the Max Mara woman channels Anjelica Huston and Dominique Sanda in “The Garden of the Finzi-Continis” for an outing of leisure wear ranging from roomy jumpsuits to head to toe prints—including hats and footwear. The standout pieces, however, were those in neutral and monotone shades like tan, black and taupe, where the silhouette celebrates the feminine form without being too provocative.
