Hollywood’s new starlet Margot Robbie lands the June 2016 cover of Vogue Magazine, looking all smiles in a leopard print Michael Kors Collection one-piece swimsuit. Photographed by Mert & Marcus with styling by fashion editor Tonne Goodman, Margot is joined by her ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ co-star Alexander Skarsgård in the photoshoot. Wearing the designs of Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein Collection and more, the blonde bombshell makes a case for animal print in the glossy spread.

Talking about taking on the role of Jane in ‘The Legend of Tarzan’, Margot says, “There’s no way I was going to play the damsel in distress.” But after reading the script, she changed her mind. “It just felt very epic and big and magical in some way. I haven’t done a movie like that. The Harry Potter films could have been really cheesy, but David Yates made them into something dark and cool and real – plus it was shooting in London, and I, on a whim, had just signed a lease on a house there.”

Margot Robbie – ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ Movie

Out in theaters on July 1, ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ is a new telling of the iconic character originally created by Edgar Rice Burroughs in the early 20th century. The film stars Aleksander Skarsgard (Tarzan) and Margot Robbie (Jane). The official plot for the film reads: “It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Robbie) at his side.”

“Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.”
