La Nuit Américaine – For the latest issue of Antidote, photographer Jan Welters captures Lindsey Wixson in smoldering looks that evoke silent film era sexiness. With a raven colored coif by Seb Bascle, and a smokey eye look by Steven Canavan, Lindsey’s porcelain doll features are made dangerous. Creative and fashion director Yann Weber’s slinky ensembles give Lindsey just the right feminine edge. / Casting Director – Sibylle De Saint Phalle

  1. I disagree… I think she is very beautiful. A one of a kind doll. Her face reminds me of girls in classic paintings.

  2. Largely agree with Farah – beautiful but too childlike to be sexy – at least Lindsey is distinctive even if you don’t find it “interesting” – sometimes these days though it’s easy to forget it’s meant to be about the clothes, and it’s hard to tell anything about the clothes from these images.

    • When a consumer is flipping through magazine after magazine, it’s the model’s face and the image that has to stop them flipping, take a good look and actually buy the magazine.  Besides this is an Editorial, not a Look book or advert, I don’t think it has to be about the clothes — there are a many other pages in a publication where it can be just about the clothes 🙂

I think Lindsey’s amazing.  And like you said, she distinctive.  She gets people to stop and look at her.  That’s why she’s in demand.

  3. Beauty of Lindsey Wixson lies in her uniqueness. She has this alienesque Lolita thing going on in her face with heart-shaped mouth and round eyes. She can be cute enough for commercial fashion & edgy for high fashion.

I like her because she adds something different to the sea of the usual Soviet barbies.
