Following up the controversial cover choice, the April issue of Vogue US features something that perhaps won’t be so polarizing. Kate Upton (who was recently named the face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics) shows off her amazing figure in a fashion spread photographed by Mario Testino. In addition to the striking photographs where she models looks from the likes of Stella McCartney and Versace styled by Tonne Goodman, the article talks about Kate’s impact on social media. “People think I’m an expert on social media,” she tells the magazine, “but I am still trying to figure it out, too. How much do you want to put yourself out there?”
Kate also opens up about not taking it too far in the sexy department. “Yes, I definitely have limits,” she says. “But I never like to say never because I feel like I’m setting myself up. There’s a line between becoming, you know, a little cheap and cheesy versus being sexy. And I try to be very careful of that line.” See more of the feature on Vogue.com.

So Vogue is doing cheap and cheesy now? Oh and they name the cheap cheesy girl model of the year… can I buy weed from you so I can have super irrational and ridiculous thoughts?
Bottom line you will never be known by the masses, she is and she’s killing it, but she isn’t your ideal so you want to trash her. She’s America’s darling and the toast of the fashion world, let’s be happy for her for a minute maybe? She’s a really good person too if you read up on her.

Actually Chris is exactly right on in his assessment of her. I HAVE in fact met Kate Upton 3 times in Miami, and all three times she was a completely down to earth normal girl. Very pleasant and approachable. The last time was last February during the Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary events. I also shot her with Seattle Seahawks great Richard Jefferson, also a really nice down to earth guy in his own right. It’s amazing of just HOW people will stand in judgments of someone that they NEVER even met. But only have read things about?
I LOVE Kate Upton because like Gwen Stefani once sang “she’s just a girl”. That’s Kate Upton. She’s also doing her job too. Which is being the best model that she can be. All those girls who look like her now know that they too can get that illusive modeling chance. She’s a good kid that Kate.
