Although most well known for his sophisticated day wear, designer Jason Wu took a foray into evening wear for his fall 2011 showing at New York Fashion Week. Working with delicate lace, Swarovski crystals and feathered embellishments, the new collection looked ready for a night out on the town with its sweeping gowns and strong suiting in a muted, more mature color scheme.

  1. I definitely see some Valentino and McQueen references, but gorgeous nonetheless. I dont think Jason Wu can really do wrong. He makes clothes that are beautiful, wearable, feminine and expensive looking.

    I only have ONE critique tho, from up far, the dress on Frida – looks like giant ants are crawling all over the top part. I dont know if im fond of that.
