How to Feel Comfortable With Your Look

It’s said that true beauty comes from within and in a similar way, looking good in your fashion choices should also be about inner direction rather than external factors. Yet at the same time, we’re almost all fashion victims to some extent whether we really realize it or not. If you don’t believe this, take a look at a photograph of yourself from a decade or more ago and check out your clothes; would you be happy wearing the same ensemble today?

Nevertheless, feeling right in what you choose to wear along with your make-up, hair and whole look is important to achieve. But it’s easier said than done. We can all become distracted by others’ choices, the mood we happen to be in when making our choices, our confidence level and the intended function of the clothes we’re buying.

So we need to take action to know ourselves, our psychology and how to get the mood right before we make those choices. There are various ways to achieve this.

One great way to understand what makes you tick and when and how you’re going to feel most comfortable is through clairvoyant readings. What’s more, this is a fascinating journey of self-discovery when it’s handled by an experienced expert. Someone who gets to understand who you are and what you’re about can give you advice in a unique way.

The same may be true of talking to a close friend in an open way, or taking exercise to feel better about ourselves – or simply relaxing, meditating, enjoying a therapy like massage or reflexology etc. It’s all about deciding what works best for you in self-actualization. This journey of self-discovery then radiates through other areas of your life and enables you to feel good about yourself whatever the circumstances. And feeling good about yourself also extends to how you create your entire look, including your fashion choices. This is because those choices are driven from within rather than from without – which is exactly what all the great designers do.

How many times have you tried on clothing in a store and kind of made yourself try to like something because it’s what you want to like? In these circumstances, your logical brain is telling you that the items are in fashion, they’re what you had in mind and maybe you’ve seen others in similar clothing and they look good in it – so why not you? Meanwhile, your instinct is telling you something else entirely.

It’s saying this really doesn’t feel right for you, maybe you feel a little uncomfortable wearing it, perhaps a little pretentious. “Whatever” as they say – this is the time to listen to your inner voice / your instinct / your true self; call it what you will. This is you. This is the person who knows what’s right for you and your fashion choices are simply an extension of your true inner self – or at least they should be because this is the key to looking and feeling great.
