Harper's Bazaar US March 2010 | Anna Selezneva & Wes Bentley by Peter Lindbergh

Anna Selezneva pairs up with actor Wes Bentley for Peter Lindbergh’s re-imagining of the infamous Bonnie and Clyde. Photographed for the March issue of American Harper’s Bazaar, the troublesome twosome robs banks and run from the law in vintage ensembles styled by Aleksandra Woroniecka.

I agree with Karly. This is too set-up and fake looking. But at least Anna's made some nice facial expressions.

wow. i'm in disagreement with the idea of this shoot being cheesy.. hmmm..? well maybe it's because i was a huge fan of the movie bonnie and clyde and this reenactment on this shoot was awesome, the styling, the photography (by the great lindbergh) …. love it.

it's MEANT to look like a set-up! i think this is a great fashion shoot, mixing sarcasm with control. if they wanted to be serious, they wouldn't have made those small moneybags with a dollar-S on it, like the moneybags Uncle Scrooge always carry around. they played with the bonnie and clyde concept, using a bit of irony. i love it

oh and by the way, this makes me think of the Mad Men episode in season 2, where Don just bought a car and he and Betty lies in a park, Don wishing it could be like that forever. one of the nicest moments in season 2, because it is one of the few times where no evilness is involved
