Gucci Redux – Keeping in line with its pre-fall campaign, the latest advertisements from Gucci use projections and high gloss styling to sell the Gucci vision of glamour. Enlisting a large cast including Abbey Lee Kershaw, Joan Smalls, Emily Baker, Sigrid Agren, Lenz Von Johnston, Anthon Wellsjo and Duco Ferwerda, Mert & Marcus capture the gang luxuriating in a swanky setting for the autumn season.

  1. With this, I’ve finally seen the light on the darkly saturated, clashing colors look.  Now I want to see more.

  3. I love how cinematic this is, and the colors are really decadent. Regardless of seeming overly posed, which most ads are guilty of, there’s a really intriguing voyeuristic feeling to the shoot which creates a great sense of ambiance to showcase all the beautiful clothes.

  4. Joan is fabulous.  I think Abbey looks pretty good here, considering her appearance lately.  Overall, I think this is a beautiful, well-executed campaign that sells the vibe of the collection well.

  5. @… do you mean she’s kinda stuck in the background and forgotten? Poor newbies haha. I like the one of her leaning back with her legs all awkward. And I think there’s another missing shot where she’s the focus.
