Givenchy’s Equestrian Fall – For fall 2012, Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci took a liking to equestrian inspired gear for the label’s presentation shown during Paris Fashion Week. Cropped capes, riding jackets, tapered trousers and thigh high boots dominated the autumn season. A gothic color palette of black, red and camel grounded the collection of slouchy silhouettes. Hard leather looks were followed up by slip style dresses decorated with delicate lace and glittered accents for a romantic touch to the upcoming autumn.

  1. He’s really gone hell for leather (literally) with this collection! wonder how many animals worth of skin there would be in this collection alone…

  2. Too bad the runway/backdrop is so dark – it makes it far too difficult to see the clothes.  The lingerie pieces are disastrous.  The models look far too thin & the outfits look very ill-fitting.
