Italian shoemaker Giuseppe Zanotti gets sensual with his spring-summer 2017 campaign. Starring Dutch model Maartje Verhoef, the images feature a minimal backdrop with a focus on what else but the shoes? Mario Sorrenti photographs the campaign with styling by Carine Roitfeld and Giovanni Bianco on creative direction. The new season spotlights five key styles.

One being the ‘Angie’–a glittery cage sandal. Another key shoe is the ‘Gemma’–a platform slip-on sneaker with crystal embellishments. “My collections always have an element of the raw, sexy but urban mixed with the refined and the sophisticated” says designer Giuseppe Zanotti. “It’s this balance that makes them very GZ.”
