Louis Vuitton’s artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière offered up a futuristic, cyber punk vision for spring-summer 2016 on the final day of Paris Fashion Week. Opening with a duo of leather motorcycle jackets, the first two looks set the tone for the rest of show. Metal decorated skirts, utilitarian jumpsuits and cropped tops were all trending on the runway. But the true star of the show was the leather jacket; from classic black to jackets decorated with the Louis Vuitton signature branding to stripes, it was all about leather. More futuristic details were shown in the final looks–metallic, iridescent dresses with puffy, cloud-shaped skirts.
