The Reveal – We take a look at the May cover of Elle Brazil which stars Coco Rocha wearing a Julien Macdonald dress from the designer’s spring collection. Coco poses for Max Abadian with styling by William Graper for the new issue which hits stores on April 26th. Interestingly enough, the cover has created a little controversy with Rocha’s recent tumblr post accusing Elle of editing the photo to reveal more skin than she agreed to. For more on the controversy, read the full article on The Cut. / Makeup by Hung Vanngo, Hair by Andre Gunn, Production by Sonny Domingos

I can only dream of having a cover to bitch about. Â Having said that, this just shows that models get no real respect even at cover-girl level.
hahahahahaha I looooove your comment!!! xD
She doesn’t really look naked though. I find this whole thing strange.Â
Agreed. She doesn’t even look naked. She actually has never looked better.
It is so tastefully shot, and she looks beautiful. I think she is complaining to make a point, but actually sounds quite ridiculous because women only dream of looking like that…
Beautiful cover Coco- Relax.
You can see where the neckline of the bodysuit was…
I understand Coco’s point though.
Yes, some women may only dream about looking like that, but there was an agreement made and the magazine chose not to honor that agreement.
beautiful!
The idea that the editorial team needs to follow the model’s directives is ludicrous. If you want to model, there are good things ($$$, travel, no degree required, sometimes fame) but being able to decide and dictate how the magazines and ad campaigns that hire you look in the end is just not part of the deal. All jobs have their ups and downs, and part of being a grown up (which I realize is difficult for the largely teenage model population) is to accept that.Â
