At 18-years-old, Eileen Gu has become the new ambassador for IWC Schaffhausen. The freestyle skier has appeared in campaigns for fashion brands like Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. in the past year. She also utilizes her voice to inspire and encourage younger generations throughout the world through sport. For a new campaign, she poses on location at a skatepark wearing the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41.

This 41mm stainless steel watch has a blue or green face and an in-house movement. The Chronograph 41 has a quick-change technology, allowing the wearer to modify their timepiece to different circumstances. In addition to appearing in images, she also stars in a commercial where she skates in the park and rinks while encouraging viewers to reevaluate their beliefs and pursue their ambitions. Eileen wears casual looks, including a denim jacket and zip-up hoodie for the project.

From the age of eight, Gu has been breaking records in freestyle skiing, including becoming the first woman to land a 1440 double cork in 2021. In her last eight World Cup contests in the US and Canada, she has won four freestyle competitions, becoming the first female skier in history to do so.
