    • So true. after all of that campaigning she did for plus sized models and saying no to anorexia, look who’s almost going anorexic again. such a hypocrite.

………What an insensitive comment. Anorexia isn’t a choice. If she is relapsing into the illness again it isn’t through choice. Besides, she looks far from anorexic here, and is noticeably bigger than your average fashion model. Plus, she’s probably been given a good dose of the old photoshop here to appear streamlined.

NB- the deer in the headlights expression is a bit silly.

  1. she literally looks like a man in that red suit – and again, right below – like a hair metal guitarist having his school portrait taken.

that triple catchlight in the eyes is also really unsettling, especially in the preview image.

aughhhh… i’m trying not to be so negative but what the hell is this?

  10. I first worked with Crystal when she was 14/15. Tall and slim but still looked healthy (before the agencies started putting pressure on her). Sure she shot up in weight but she looked great then as well and also did a great thing for industry. Here she’s clearly lost weight but she just looks like she’s taking care of herself. She’s looking beautiful and more mature here.

  11. She is actually very overrated. I mean, I was happy for her for when she became big. But she doesn’t really deserve the recognition she’s getting now…

  12. she looks beautiful chubby, normal-sized or skinny… and I think this weight suits her. If she’s anti-anorexia she doesn’t have to be plus-sized all the time. as long as she’s healthy and not turning incredibly skinny, she’s still sticking to the idea of healthy-looking models she came to represent in the first place. She’s beautiful in these photos!

  13. Oh please.
she’s supposed to be plus-size?! surely not anymore.
I think editors are just riding the wave of ‘controversy’ and claiming to be open-minded and tolerant by shoving Crystal Renn in our faces. She’s just about as thin as any other mainstream model.

  15. I keep having this amazing fantasy where there will one day be a Renn post and there won’t even be one comment about her weight, either negative or positive.

  16. WTF! Isn’t she suppose to be a plus size model?? She makes me so sick, trying to pretend she’s a plus size model when she’s clearly not. Yuk, I wasn’t even looking at the clothes, they should stop giving her credit as a good model

  18. Hahahaaaaaaaa oh my god. Am I the only in tears from her expression? Did they really think this was a good look? I’m genuinely curious.
