Tom Ford Channels the 80’s for Fall 2018

Tom Ford looked to the 1980’s for his fall-winter 2018 show presented during New York Fashion Week. The American designer celebrated the maximalism of the decade with bold animal prints and an even bolder color palette. Models including Kaia Gerber hit the runway in puffed jackets, embellished sweatshirts and slim-fit pants. For more party options, Ford offered up short and ruffled dresses as well as tailored suiting. Low kitten heels paired with sparkling embroideries as well as handbags featured bold slogans like ‘pussy power’. Adding to the throwback aesthetic, models wore large headbands and oversized hoop earrings.
