Miuccia Prada’s appreciation for the 1950’s and 60’s takes center stage for Miu Miu’s spring-summer 2019 runway collection. The Italian designer offers the juxtaposition of retro femininity and masculine style with not only her designs, but also the casting. Models with short and buzzed cuts took to the catwalk as well as those with micro bangs.

Ladylike dresses feature girly bows and ruching while tailored blazers come with knit sweaters. For footwear, glittery sandals, chunky platforms and strappy flats stand out. Handbags feature a reworked version of the Miu Miu logo while the finale’s flapper style dresses sparkle all over.
