Set at the Louvre, Louis Vuitton’s fall-winter 2018 collection transformed the Lefuel Court into the interior of a spaceship. The sci-fi setting was fitting for a season which explored silhouettes from the past through a modern lens. Artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière looked at wardrobe essentials of the French woman for autumn. For fall 2018, the Vuitton woman wore mid-length skirts paired with cropped jackets and tops flared at the hem for a peplum effect. Chunky sweaters paired with slim-fit pants made for a chic silhouette. Finishing the ensembles, models wore strappy heels as well as tote bags and flat bags with technological prints.
