One of the world’s most famous supermodels, Cindy Crawford, is retiring from modeling if a recent interview is to be believed. Speaking with United Airlines’ Rhapsody Magazine, the American beauty says that her 50th birthday (which falls on February 20th) will mark the end of her modeling career.
“I’m sure I’ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore. What else do I need to do? I can’t keep reinventing myself. I shouldn’t have to keep proving myself. I don’t want to,” she tells the magazine.
But just because Cindy is retiring does not mean we won’t see anymore of those Crawford genes. Her 14-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber signed with IMG Models last year and appeared in publications like Vogue Italia, Teen Vogue and CR Fashion Book.
