With the order going up the social ladder from peasant chic to medieval princess, the collection certainly had its fair share of wow moments. The brand’s creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, said the reoccurring theme of the lion was inspired by the house’s late founder, who was born in August under the sign of Leo.

  1. I am not certain with Karl's new direction of the brand, as the classic with a twist thing is already a steady and good direction, a surprise is not really needed but this surprise really shocked me and I don't feel it at all. Especially the mustard color palette.

  11. WOWZA! Iris as the bride this season? GREAT! I love the dress Anja is wearing where there is a small ring of orange fur near the bottom of her dress. It's cute. Like Michelle said, wearable Haute Couture is very unusual… To see the direction many fashion houses are taking with their couture collections and then to see this emmaculate couture collection is almost mind-blowing. I'm a firm believer in whatever Karl does though, so I love it!

I think that that this show was an other fashion show of the year but for me Chanel means something elegant and very simple but rich in other way and I think that a first looks are so Chanel but some of them are made only for fun If Coco Chanel was alive she never put them on the show ! But Karl is Karl and Coco was Chanel !
