Non-invasive cosmetic treatments are on the rise, and for good reason. When we consider cosmetic treatments, we want to retain a natural look, despite the fact that we use such methods to essentially combat the natural processes of ageing. Voluma for example is designed to be used specifically in the mid-face, adding volume to the cheeks. Voluma is made with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin.
It’s no secret that many celebrities use cosmetic treatments and have achieved a strikingly natural look as they have aged – so much so, that you might not have even realized that they used such treatments in the first place.
Jenny McCarthy
Jenny has been open about getting plastic surgery and says she’s not ashamed of getting work done to boost her confidence. Jenny isn’t afraid to admit she uses botox to keep her youthful glow. McCarthy told Life & Style magazine that ‘I get Botox in my forehead. I just have my doctor do a little shot.’
Kelly Ripa
Kelly makes no bones about Botox, claiming that it’s changed her life. Kelly has a pretty simple beauty routine. Since she began getting Botox treatments, she said, getting ready to go out has been quicker. ”It’s cut my getting ready time in half,” she said. So how does the talk show host avoid looking constantly surprised? Moderation, she said. “The key to everything is knowing what you look like and being a minimalist,” she said. Kelly doesn’t want to advise anyone to get it or not but simply stated that it changed her life for the better.
Kim Cattrall
Kim has previously admitted to using Botox on her forehead, but is too frightened to have surgery, saying: ‘I don’t want to look in the mirror and not recognize who’s looking back.’ She claims that it is the one procedure she depends on saying: “I think I look my age, but I don’t want to be 20 anymore or even 30 or 40.”
Molly Sims
Molly Sims, actress and model, knows all about glamour. She reports the secret to her youthful good looks comes down to hard work and conservative amounts of Botox, which she has been doing on and off since her mid-30s. “I naturally have so much movement that I was creating a very deep line that would have been there forever if I had not started. With that, I also moisturize a lot more often than I used to.”
Sharon Osbourne
Sharon also expressed her love for Botox saying it’s “one of the best things that has ever been created for cosmetic surgery.” One of the things we love most about Sharon is her tell-it-like-it-is demeanor that not only makes for good TV, but also lets her fans feel like they can relate to her. “I do this for myself. I spent years looking like an Oompa Loompa. I’m not doing it to get a man. I’m doing it for me,” Osbourne told Daily Mail.
It’s exhilarating to see celebrities take the forthright approach and own up to the work they’ve had done. In the end, we all know what’s going on behind the scenes, so a little more honesty in the industry would be swell.
